October brought another good performance of Chilean walnut shipments. The trend has been very positive and we estimate no carry over into next 2021 crop. Availability is very limited if any market is now focused more in US product rather than in Chilean availability.
Chilean walnut industry has managed to ship already nearly 80% of the total crop and around 95% of it is committed. Shipments continue strong and the remaining volume should be sold in the coming months to end up the season with none or very little carry over for the next
The good trend of Chilean shipments continue despite the disruption of shipments at end of August due to the strike of Chilean truck´s drivers. Anyway all eyes are on California today with their new record crop.
July shipments hit a record for the month and we have seen a positive trend during last three months.
