The season is almost over and the volume gone. 2020 was one of the most challenging years the industry and the world has faced. Fortunately, Chilean walnut exporter managed to go through it, moving the volume, keeping their operations running through the pandemic, lock downs and responding to the increased controls to prevent COVID-19. Also had to deal with the effects of the most severe drought in the last century in Chile, all together created a perfect storm but in this case the boat didn’t sink.
